Childrens Hospital Oakland is a replacement helistop for the existing helistop on grade that did not meet FAA clearances. This structure is a 3 story exposed steel structure htat will be enclosed in the future for a future hospital administration building. The intenet it to create a structure that elevates the landing pad for the helicopter and a structure that represents the machine aesthetic of a helicopter, through exposed steel detailing.
