Copenhagen provided an unique opportunity to design an infill project in the medevil center of the city. As with all historic town centers, the sitewas an irregular shape with no right angles. The design focused on the massing by aligning the vertical circulation to one site edge while aligning the habitable space to the other site edge. This creats a void between the two structures that allows the void to respresent the true geometric irregularity of the site.
